Essence Enterprises believes your personal information deserves protection and should not be shared unless required by law or approved by you.

While you can visit our Web sites without registering or providing any personal information, from time to time we do request some private information.

Why we need information

Private information is necessary if you desire to receive our e-news letter, register for a Learning Program, participate in an event, join one or more of our communities, or have access to all of our informational and educational programs.

For many of these offerings, we will only need your name and e-mail, but you are free to provide more. We need to know this to be able to communicate with you. For other programs, particularly where we are looking for active involvement or soliciting a fee for service, we will need to know more.

No sharing or selling of information

We will not share your information with anybody outside of our organization, the Content Providers whose programs you participate in, or the Essence Communities you join. Essence Content Providers and Community Leaders are bound by our privacy policy.

We will never sell personal information to anyone and we will do our very best to ensure you only receive the information you want, when and how you want it.

If you purchase anything from our shopping cart, your purchase will be handled in a secure and safe environment through the shopping and fulfillment services of 1Shoppingcart.com, a third-party affiliate that is equally concerned about your privacy. It is bound by contract to maintain the confidentiality and security of personal information and is restricted from using such information in any other way.

We also do not share any Web site usage information with any other companies, individuals or marketers.

We do send newsworthy e-mail messages to Essence Community members.

The only time we might disclose any information about an individual's account would be to satisfy any law, regulation or government request.

We will advise subscribers in advance if we ever decide to change our Privacy Policy.

We would be happy to post our email, unfortunately, thousands violate our privacy every day when we do so we apologize for the need to complete the form.

Minors under 18

Finally, we do not wish to collect birth data as we feel that is extremely private. However, as our content and programs are not designed for children, without collecting birth data, we cannot restrict access by age.

Since children are not eligible to pay for our services, we ask that minors (under the age of 18) do not submit credit card information. Essence is not responsible for a minor's use of their parent's credit card without the parent’s approval.

Protecting your personal information

Guests, buyers and members take responsibility for updating account information. To provide you with an increased level of security, access to your personal information is protected with a password you select.

We strongly recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone. Your password will never be asked through unsolicited communication from the Crossings.
