As every economist will tell you, raising taxes stagnates economic growth and there is no government on the planet that is as efficient as free markets. So why are we raising taxes to increase the size of the government? As we read in the papers or hear in the news, nations around the world are struggling with national debts that are over 80 percent of national gross domestic product. Ladies and gentlemen, the world is insolvent and it is time to restore fiscal responsibility.
